Football Lay Devil
This Football Lay System has been doing the rounds on our football forum for the past month or so and it has been very successful. Whilst the overall rules have been placed on the forum I thought it would be a good idea to formulise them into a coherent system that is easy to follow and hopefully cannot be misunderstood. I have named it “Football Lay Devil“.
To find the selections you use http://www.betdevil.com, which is free, and you will need an account at a betting exchange to be able to lay the selections. That is all you need. You can pick out the selections, even on the busiest Saturday within 5 minutes, from games anywhere in the world. Obviously any selection must be shown on your chosen betting exchange.
Rules
1 Go to www.betdevil.com and at the top of the page you will see a black coloured horizontal bar. Click on “matches”.
2 From the drop down menu click on “today” or “tomorrow“, this will show you every game to be played that day.
3 We are interested in 3 columns, Home win (1), Away win (2) and Over 2.5 goals (O2.5).
4 Go down the Over 2.5 column until you come to a match where the odds are below 2.0.
5 Now for that match check the home and away odds. The home odds must be below 2.0 and the away odds must be below 6.0.
6 The difference between home and away odds must be at least 2.5.
7 If all 4 of the criteria are met then check the odds of the Away team on the Betting Exchange.
8 If they are below 5.5 on the Exchange, then lay the Away team.
So that is it. In essence, it can be used for any game that is on the exchanges, Over 2.5 goals must be under 2.0, the Home side must be under 2.0, the Away side must be under 6.0, the difference in odds between home and away must be at least 2.5, then lay the Away side if they are below 5.5 on the exchange. Simples!!!
Go on! Have your say!

Hi Hung,
The best Betting Exchange is Betfair (Betfair.com). Once on the site you will need to open an account, which just takes a few minutes. On Betfair you are able to back selections or lay them (which means you don’t want them to win).
You can select virtually any sport you want, so if you wanted Football you click on the Football tab and it will give you a list of countries, you pick out the country you want and then whichever division you want, alist of games will come up and you pick out the game you wish to bet on.
At this stage on the right hand side of the screen there is a menu where you can view the betting demo, which would be advisable if you are not used to it. The thing to remember is that if you are backing a team you click on the blue odds but if you are laying a team you click on the pink odds. It is a simple process but you do need to accquaint yourself with it all first before making any bets.
You will see the odds for home, away and draw for both the back selection and lay selection once you have picked out the game you are interested in.
