There were opportunities to green up in last night's match after Liverpool held the lead until the 60th min but I was that confident they would go on and win the match that I didn't trade out. Lesson learned! The two biggest threats to successful betting/trading are those infamous twins, greed & fear. Beware of both!

On to today. The Ashes test has already offered green up opportunities for those who laid the draw.

Successful lay this afternoon just before racing was abandoned @ Southwell.

Lay The Draw @ FC Twente v Tottenham. This is a trade that i suggest you green up on after the first goal...and with the free scoring of both teams it is almost inevitable there will be at least one goal.

Wow! What a game...a small green up after the 2nd Spurs goal saved the bacon....although there was more bacon to be had after their 3rd goal also.

Well, it went pear shaped today and the lay selection won the race although I did green up prior to the off with the selection drifting from 2.3 to 3.5 before the stalls opened. It also traded around 6.0 during the race so for the traders amongst you there were a lot of possibilities to secure a guaranteed profit.

Onto the football this evening and I recommend laying Marseille @ 2.84.
I will also be laying the "above 2.5 goals" in the same match @ 2.36.

Good morning to you on a beautifully crisp winters morn.

A mixed bag last night with our under 2.5 goals coming good but the outright lay on Marseille going the wrong way...eventually...although Marseille were available @6.0 in running so a tidy green up was achievable if you were so inclined. I learned my lesson from the other night and greened up @4.5 for a small but worthwhile profit no matter what the outcome. Chelsea were appalling and despite their legitimate claims for a penalty or two Marseille always looked the more likely to score after that.

On to today and we have 3 lays that meet the criteria today;

4.00. Kempton. Golden Shine

5.00. Kempton. Stirling Bridge

6.30. Kempton. Stratton Banker

I will also be having an extremely low liability lay on Private Joke in the Wolv 2.45. On all known form he should win comfortably but I have a nagging doubt in my mind so, with his price so short, I will be risking a little to gain a lot.
