If you've been following this forum, you will know that I've been making some spread betting recommendations over the last couple of weekends, with good overall profits.

There aren't too many spread betting tipsters around, at least who publish their information free, or for the cost of a newspaper. But, there are enough for us to be able to start a tipping league on this forum, with the opportunity for you to take advantage of the recommendations they make.

And, anyone is more than welcome to include their own tips, and join in the fun.

Probably the best known spread tipster is Spreadwise in the Racing Post, and I plan to include his daily suggestions on this forum, hopefully before the events.

In the Saturday edition of Scotland's biggest selling newspaper, the Daily Record, a chap called Colin Duncan goes under the name of Sam Spread and tips up two or three spread bets, normally match supremacies in football.

I've got a good friend who will be tipping under the colourful alias of The Sage Of Sambourne, and his recommendations are well worth a look.

And of course, my own stuff, which currently involves La Liga Bookings and the Weekend Live football spreads, but will also be including a Horse Racing element from today.

Please join us, and look in at what we hope to be some good profitable guidance to get you spread betting career up and running, or absolutely motoring if you are a seasoned campaigner.

Until we get properly into a routine, which might not be until after the festive period, I am going to put everything together, including some already published information from the last couple of weeks, and call it a pre-season tournament, before we start properly in the New Year.

Hi the Sage here or David Bugden....Just wanted to say how impressed I have been with the spread tipping so far very good, even by me!! I wanted to
start discussion on when or if to close off spread bets does anyone have a formula or feeling on how long to keep a spread open. I look forward to the chat and the continued top qaulity tips.

That's impressive stuff folks, 39 points up across the league from only around 75 recommendations in total. Only Mark is running at a small loss, and he is genuinely a spread betting newbie, having just opened his first accounts in the last couple of weeks.

With his outstanding horse racing knowledge, I confidently predict that we will see Mark move into profit very soon. No pressure!!
