Well done to those that followed me in on the HT/FT system that I outlined on Friday. It came good at the weekend with 6/10 selections being draws at half-time and 5/6 giving a positive result come full-time. For those who followed the cautious route, like myself, it meant a 3.5 point profit, those with a more adventurous approach, taking the away win gained a 9 point profit and for any who went both ways, it led to a 12.5 points profit, an excellent result all round.

On the Friday Footy tips front, the lay did us proud but Blackpool let us down at home to Leicester but no damage done to the bank, which is still well in profit since we started this spot. It is showing a very healthy 20% ROI.

Yesterday saw the draw for Euro 2012, to be held jointly in Poland and Ukraine. After the stressful week he has had, I think Fabio will have been pleased to get over to Warsaw and he must have liked the group he got, with only the Swiss as a possible fly in the ointment. The Republic of Ireland and Trappatoni should also be pleased, although they do have to face 4 Eastern European opponents. Their main opposition comes in the form of Russia and Slovakia but they must feel they have a realistic chance of making the finals.

Unfortunately the same can’t be said for Scotland and Northern Ireland, with main rivals Spain and Italy, European and World champions repectively and also fearsome opposition in the Czech Republic and Serbia as well. The qualifiers take place from September 2010 to October 2011. Good luck to all the Home Nations, I think some of them are going to need it.

We have been following Psychic Soccer Profits over the last 3 weeks during its’ trial period and I have to report that this past week it has taken an horrendous battering. Co-incidentally about a week ago it opened up a chat room to discuss the system and a very entertaining week it has been in there, I can tell you.
