Donohoe Digital is the ‘DD’ behind DD Poker. The company is comprised of Doug Donohoe, the founder and Greg King, a friend of Doug’s since childhood.

The whole concept behind this product is that you can practice, make mistakes and learn from those mistakes when playing limit, pot limit and no limit texas hold’em against computer opponents.

These opponents are modeled after real types of playing styles such as Fish, Rock, Weak-Tight and Solid. You are able to customise your own player types and specify the mix of players in each tournament to your  choosing! If you would like a table full of tight-solid players in order to play tough pots then that is possible.

You can choose from 15 pre-defined tournament formats like the World Championship or design your own. You can specify antes, blinds, buy-in, rebuys, add-ons and prizes to your liking. You don’t have to just play against a computer. You are able to play online with friends and family through the internet.

DD Poker is like having your very own online poker, without the rake!! You are able to go back to previous hands and analyse your play as DD Poker tracks every hand of poker you play, whether it was online or during a practice session.

Use the DD Poker statistics to identify the hands you think you played well or poorly, as well as the  Calculator Tool to calculate showdown odds, evaluate the strength of your hand, determine your outs and figure out where you stand compared to your opponents.
