I have downloaded the tips as I received them then added the results. So across it will read – player and quoted spread price. Then I have added finishing position (with number of players tied in brackets). So if 7 players are tied for 17th they take the average of 17 18 19 20 21 22 23, which is 20 so that is the finishing position. Then I have added the result for that bet (to one unit. I have multiplied the final result by the stake only). We are looking for players to finish higher than their quoted spread price so ideally we would like them all to miss the cut so their price is 70.

Abu Dhabi Championship

All selections are finishing position BUYS with a 1.5 point stake. Prices quoted are with Sporting Index unless otherwise stated. Only the size of the field (126) puts us off having a maximum 2 point stake

Total 29.5 with a 1.5 point stake means +44.25.

So a win of 44.25 points on this tournament, nice start to the trial.

Start Balance: 1000 points

Tournament P/L: 44.25

Running Balance: 1044.25 points

Farmers Insurance Open

All bets are finishing position BUYS for a 2 point stake. Prices quoted are all with Spreadex.

Total -24 with a 2 point stake means -48.

So a loss of 48 points on this tournament, so slightly down for the first week. Let’s hope for a few more missed cuts next week!
