There were two trades issued to members today, one from the Premier League, the other from Spain.

England – Premier League
Newcastle United vs Manchester United
Advice: Lay Over 3.5 Goals
Lay odds advised: 3.30, stake: £100.00.
Back odds advised: 6.60, stake: £50.00.
Stop Loss advised: Back @ 1.65 for £200.00.
Lay odds taken: 3.30.

When I first looked at this market today, the odds stood at 3.25/3.30, with only £8 available at 3.30, so we picked that up, and left the remainder to be picked up during the course of the afternoon.

The remainder was picked up during the next hour or so, and at kick off, the odds standing one tick lower at 3.20/3.25, with a number of matches during the late part of the afternoon at 3.05.

Newcastle scored at 33 minutes, with the odds just missed at 6.40.

They scored again two minutes after half-time, this time the odds were just over 4.0. However, the odds only dropped to 2.00, so I let things run.

Thankfully the third goal came in injury time, with our back bet being picked up in the final ten minutes of the game.

Profit achieved: £47.50.

Spain – Copa Del Rey
Barcelona vs Osasuna
Advice: Lay Under 1.5 Goals in first half.
Lay odds advised: 2.00, stake: £100.00.
Back odds advised: 4.00, stake: £50.00.
Lay odds taken: 2.00.

On opening this trade for the first time, the market was fairly inactive, with the odds available at 2.30/2.34. It seemed at this point that we would need to wait until the game started to be matched.

By kick off, the odds were relatively unchanged, at 2.30/2.36, with some trades being made at between 2.24 and 2.40 during the intervening period.

Once the games kicked off, with no score in the first few minutes, the odds went down fairly quickly, and was matched inside the first ten minutes.

The first goal, after fourteen minutes, crated a spike to 3.90, with only a £1 matched, with the market settling down at 3.40/3.50.

Thankfully, the second goal arrived only five minutes later, and a further complete profit arrived.

Profit achieved: £95.00.
