Betting Pro Trades – Day 39

There were three trades provided for tonight’s games, with stakes at a level to be placed without having to be recalculated to comply with the bank we currently have.

Lay odds taken: 3.00.

When I opened the market for the first time this afternoon, there had been four trades, with odds standing at 3.10/3.15.

Unfortunately, I missed kick off, as I had to be elsewhere at that point, but within a few minutes of kick off, the lay bet was picked up.

In a high scoring game, the first goal came after only seven minutes (and I was back home by then too), and the hoped for profit achieved.

Profit achieved: £71.25.

England – Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur vs West Bromwich Albion
Advice: Back Over 2.5 Goals
Back odds advised: 1.80 (wait for odds to be matched in play if score still 0:0), stake: £100.00.
Lay odds advised: 1.20, stake: £150.00.
Should odds be higher than 1.20 when two goals have been scored, then trade out for even profit.

When I opened this market, it had already been quite busy, but odds were standing at 1.65/1.66. Placed an order at 1.80, to see what happened in the game.

By kick off, the odds had moved against us, and stood at 1.58/1.60, so I continued to wait.

The bet was picked up after 18 minutes.

There was only one goal in the game, scored by Tottenham after 63 minutes, and we were without any opportunity to trade out.

On first sight of this trade, odds on offer were at 2.38/2.42, with the order placed at 2.40. The bet was picked up during the course of the afternoon.

By kick off, there had been some movement in the odds earlier in the day, but in the period leading up to kick off, things had been quite static.

A goalless first half saw the odds drift sufficiently for the trade to be completed with five minutes left before the half time whistle blew.

Profit achieved: £35.63.
