Gee Brian, is there any way you'd consider having some email conversations with me? I'm late learning this game and I don't quite know what you are meaning, what's a 12/1 and a 7/2 mean? Sorry I'm from New Zealand and haven't heard this before. But I am new at this game. I'm trying to find a way to make a living from this as I really enjoy the proccess and if I can succeed at this it will mean we can aford to go on the road when we have finished building our motorhome. I could sure do with some help if you'd consider mentoring me by email???? PLEASE, I'm sure you would find it quite intertaining too. I'm going to look for this RP website now. Thanks for your time. Cheers Glenice

Just came across this article, ery interesting reading - I thought it only applied to NH flat races but this has grabbed my attention no end. I have been through the cards for today, looked at the r/p forecast price and the actual SP's and check out the 3:55 at Fontwell today - Brushford won at 7/1 - r/p forecast price??? . . . . 16/1

The next race 4:30 won by Cue Card at 6/1 - forecast 10/1. Caught by witness 2nd at 5/1, r/p forecast 20/1 !!!

I shall be looking at this from now on :o)

Hi Liza

Brian and I have been in contact over the xmas/new year period and we have agreed to start up a new Topic in the horse racing forum to discuss this method in more detail. We are also planning to review the daily racing and to put up some suggested selections as and when they occur. It would be great to have your input so feel free to contribute your thoughts and experiences....welcome aboard.

Thanks for the info Brian and for the interesting system. I'm new so am only working on paper but I'm thinking this sounds good and I'm going to give it a shot. While saying I'm not the brightest or most experienced, it sure seems to me that many of the systems I've seen are way too complicated for the results they produce. I know there's a better way and this sounds like it might be it.

Interesting article. I sold a book about fifteen years ago called " The Hot Horse. Exactly the same strategy. Now though I go on to the RP web site on their betting site page and you can see all the bookmakers prices from about 10-30. You can compare the prices at this time. Today TALLEST PEAK 5 O'Clock Wolverhampton. RP Forecast 12/1. At 10-30am it was 11/4! and then live drifted to 7/2 when the mug money came for the Fav at 7/4. Yesterday D Cantillon had a NH Flat runner called ALPINE BREEZE. Never ran before. RP price 25/1 10-30 price 8/1. It was backed down to 11/2 Fav and won by 3 lengths. I got 10.9 on Betfair.

I now make my living from Racing betting on these "Hot" horses.

Believe me I have studied form, devised my own speed ratings etc etc. for over 35 years. However. Unless the selection is "off" you are wasting your time The only way is to see where the early money has gone, which is also refelected in the opening show. I think most punters watch the shows and then back the "steamers". There are some that win but the real inside information is, as we both have said in the comparison of the early odds.

All the best
