New Inspector in town – Iain MacKenzie

Good day Inspectors,

I have just been awarded a role as a new Inspector, and it’s only fair that you know a little about me. I am not – at the moment – a professional punter, though I have been a semi-pro in the past. I’ve also twice written computer systems that selected at least 5 winners from 8 races.

My main claim to fame for this role is that I have professionally tested software and systems, making sure that they either do or do not follow the requirements. My interest in a new system is that it either does or does not work “out of the box”.  When I buy a system I want it to perform just like the advert says, then as I get used to it I can tweak the rules to suit me.  That’s how I will approach my reviews – according to the systems rules, and so you can be sure that you will get the results you expect.
