Home Teams Reign Supreme in System 15

2

For the last few months or so we have been testing out a few little systems in the Football Forum. Some have done well, some not so well. I just want to let you know that today I have posted the rules to System 15 in the Football Systems Section.

System 15 has done rather well over the last month (25 days actually). It has shown a profit of 22 points in that time. System 15 is not  a backing system or a laying system, it is both. If you can find a good team to back, then the other team should also be worth laying, as long as you can get the right odds. There are not masses of bets either, so you don’t need a massive bank to make this system work. Since the start of March there has only been 32 matches to bet on, so around 1 game a day on average.

The essence of the system is to find a strong Home team playing against a weaker Away team but with the odds stacked in your favour, this means you are not going to get masses of action but when you do find a match, then you know you have the value on your side.

Sometimes you may find that you cannot get the odds required on Betfair at the time you want to make your bet, so the suggestion is not to make the bet at all. It is far better in the long run to forget these bets, remember you always need value on your side. There will always be another game coming along shortly. Bet with discipline and patience and you will be rewarded.

Please go to the Football Systems Section and look for System 15.

Friday Footy Bets

The lays have been going pretty well but we are struggling with the back bets at the moment but we shall see if we can change that this week.

Back   Bury   11/10   Blue Square   – Bury are at home to Aldershot on Saturday. Now you’ve heard of those 6 pointers at the bottom of the table in a relegation scrap, well this is a 12 pointer for a play-off place. Bury had been set fair for the play-offs just a short while ago, in fact they were even looking at automatic promotion but unfortunately the wheels have fallen off their bandwagon and they’ve got stuck in the sand. Aldershot have been going the other way, they have had 4 wins in their last 6 and are looking to pinch a play-off place at the expense of Bury. However, Bury have not lost in their last 14 at home and Aldershot don’t draw away games, they either win or lose. Bury have to turn it round here or all their hard work over the season will come to nought. At 11/10 they have slight value on their side and I take them to nick a narrow win.

Lay   Sheffield Utd   1.7   Betfair -   Sheffield Utd are at home to Scunthorpe on Sunday and on the face of it this is a mismatch. Sheffield going for a play-off place and Scunny in real relegation trouble. Sheffield with top notch home form and Scunny with abysmal away form. Sheffield have gone almost 5 months since losing at home, Scunny have lost their last 5 away games. A complete mismatch. Yet in the 8 match form table Scunny are 9th and Sheff Utd are 16th. Scunny have just beaten Peterboro and Plymouth. Sheffield recently lost to Peterboro and just scraped past Plymouth, the tide is turning a little bit. Scunthorpe will have to get over the phobia of playing away. They have won their last 2 games, both at home, to the bottom 2 sides but that must have given them confidence to go to their near neighbours and take something from the game. I feel Scunthorpe’s need is greater and they will scrap and battle and maybe come away with a draw.

On Monday we will be looking at Group C in theWorld Cup and for those that didn’t know, that is England’s group and we shall try and determine their fate.

Good luck, as always. One suggestion would be to keep a running record of your best bets every week. You have gone 1-1 for a lot of weeks which means ££££
