Managing Your Psychic Bets: Update on Reviews

0

This is just a quick recap of all my latest activity.

My colleague has already covered the Soccer Psychic ‘phenomena’ in depth, so rather than duplicate I am merely going to reinforce his words of wisdom.

I have also been trying it out and, as Kevin mentioned, it showed an initial 84 % hit rate though it did tail off somehwat.

Nevertheless it still show some promise, and as I said, you need to monitor these systems long term before jumping to a conclusion: and I will certianly continue to watch it with some interest. Overall I can still deliver an overall positive verdict, and I recommend that you try the system yourself.

And I can promise you that I was highly sceptical before I looked into it!

Another thing I like is that they are quite open about the fact that, occasionally,  losses will be made – some systems try to pretend it almost never happens.  When it does happen, however, they even encourage you to vent your exasperation!  Now that’s what I call courageous.

Many less successful punters have a problem dealing with losses, so I think this is very worthy of them, particularly as it would be far easier to simply remind customers that the losses are low enough and rare enough to far outweigh the wins.  I know this from experience of running my own in-play trading site: when it does happen some people can focus on the negative and forget about the positive.

A quick update on my own in-play service, I am still showing a 100 per cent success rate this year, though I am sure it will have to end sometime!  Like all systems, you have to keep with them, and what I try to do is to be extremely selective in the trades I useto ensure the high porfit rate.   When the trades do go against me (thankfully seldom of late) I employ trading out strategies that sometimes even end us with a profit, though more likely just minimise the loss.

Back to the reviewed systems: I think that if you were to combine Psychic Soccer with Soccer Mystic then you would have 2 very complementary tools.  Unlike the Psychic phenomenon, Mystic tells you not what trades to do, but how the trade will pan out according to different scenarios.  If, for example, the Psychic advises you to ‘lay Juventus’ inplay against Inter Milan with the score at 0-0, Soccer Mystic will show you a graph of what the odds will be, say, 10, 20 or 30 minutes later.  You can also test out how a goal for Juventus or Inter might affect your profits positively or negatively.  This is extremely useful for trading out strategies….

So with Psychic Soccer you can rely on them to first get involved, and then use Soccer Mystic to decide on a trade out strategy if the worse were to happen.  This allows you the benefit of the profits whilst helping even to minimise your losses for the few trades (only 16 per cent thus far) where the trade looks like going against you.

Another system I have been looking at is the betfair-bots/managing-your-bets-an-introduction-to-bet-manager/” target=”_blank”>Bet Manager system.  This is one you will probably want to try if you do not just bet on football,  As explained in my article, it has a whole raft of features designed to save your time when trading.

Most recently I have looked at a system for managing tipsters services called Autotipster.  I can tell you this is a godsend to those of us who utilise more than one tipster service, and as you will know if you follow this site, there are many excellent services out there.

To finish off my update, I am just going to remind you of the series of articles currently on-going:  These include:

Profiting from the World Cup Draw (Next one in the series will appear in April).

Tutorial Articles: Last time I looked at how to turn poor trades into profitable ones and previously also the psychology of trading, next time I am going to look at pros and cons of seeking ‘value’ in your trading

On-going review series:

Currently we are in the middle of reviews looking at Bet Angel, Tennis Trading League and Bet Manager;  Other systems will be reviewed soon!

And now I would like to announce a new series currently in preparation: Trading Manuals.  I am going to take you through a number of trading  manuals to see what you can get out of them – that will include one of my own (but I will warn you of which one).

I am also going to include a review of Betfair for Dummies and other Betting books.

I have to admit I really love the Dummies series of books, as I believe learning should be fun, so it would be surprising if I did not like this one: But you will have to wait and see what my verdict is.

Its amazing to recount that when the original author took this idea to the publishers, it was rejected out of hand as being too insulting to the intelligence of the readers!

So we have come a long way in the few weeks I have been here and there is a lot in the pipeline: exciting times!

Look forward to seeing you again here soon: Happy trading!
