The Free Resources Articles have highlighted the wealth of information that is freely available. Below is a perfect example of what you can find if you do a few minutes research. Let’s see if these snippets can bring home the bacon!!!

bacon Free Tips Can We Bag a Few Winners?Lady Pilot is being lined up for the amateur riders’ handicap at Southwell on Tuesday. Jim Best’s capable mare has won twice from three tries on Fibresand and her canny trainer has said “ She had problems when beaten over fences at this venue three outings ago, so we brought her back steadily.

“ She badly needed the run when well beaten at Lingfield on her reappearance this month and was an unlucky third at the same track last week.

“ That was a very good run considering she was too far out of her ground at a vital stage-she also hit the rail but stayed on strongly.

“ I’ve got her spot-on and this good mark will take the world of beating. It’s the first time in ages that I’ve got her looking in such good condition.”

Best is keen to book a good amateur for the big day, as he confirmed: “ I’m trying very hard to book Joshua Moore, which will be the icing on the cake.”

Charlie Mann is in cracking form at present the ex-jump jockey strongly fancies Bench Warrent in the novices’ handicap chase at Plumpton on Sunday.

He said: “ This is a good horse rated 132, so the rating bracket of 0-135 will be ideal and the three-and-a-quarter miles is perfect as he stays all day.”

The selection finished last of three behind Burton Port in a hot Grade 2 at Lingfield last time but Mann revealed: “ His last two runs have been irrelevant because he’s been chasing prize money behind very good horses-this week’s race is much more his level.”

Great to see County Colours running over hurdles on Friday (today) after three good runs in bumpers. Howard Johnson was quoted as saying that he loves this horse and highlighted him as his hurdler to follow in the long term. The quality Irish-bred faces stiff opposition in the two-miler at Doncaster today but keep him in mind for future reference. County Colours will be a serious horse over a fence next year. He came from Ireland and those horses can take six months to get used to our environment. This is a serious workhorse, who was unlucky not to win a bumper.

Johnson saddles Double Expresso in the finale on this card but revealed: ” He might just need the run after 59 days off.”

That could leave the race at the mercy of Lord Ragnar who impressed with victory at Cheltenham in November. Drying ground increases his chance.  Ravethebrave has a lot to find on form but is expected to improve now that Alan King’s stable is in better form.

When asked for his pick of the week Johnson replied ” Quwetwo is my special bet on Saturday-I don’t care what he’s up against-I love him.”

Star Beat has been crying out for decent ground and Keith Reveley’s very well handicapped seven-year-old creeps into the bottom of the handicap chase at Doncaster on Friday.  This son of Beat All has the profile to bully lesser opposition when giving weight in a minor race.  However, he receives weight from good horses today, which makes him much harder to fancy.  Still, keep him in mind when the ground improves and he runs somewhere like Catterick.

Jul’s Lad landed some monumental bets (16-1 into 12-1) at Southwell last time. Declan Carroll’s unexposed four-year-old was raised 4lbs and although the form has been let down a few times, he must have a great chance of following up in the six-furlong handicap at Wolverhampton tonight.

I will be having a few shillings on these so fingers crossed we get a good run for our money!!!!
