Horse Racing Update – w/end 23/24th Jan

With the weather continuing to improve slowly but surely, more and more of the scheduled meetings are going ahead, but the form of these races needs to be tempered with a note of caution. Many of the stables will have been affected with the training gallops not being accessible or restricted in use and therefore affecting the face fitness of quite a few horses.

Couple that with the severe ground conditions that the recent, and certainly over the jumps, races have been run on, may mean that the overall worthiness of the form is suspect when assessing future chances.  Be prepared to give beaten horses the benefit of the doubt and you may be rewarded with some nice priced winners in the coming months.
