Two bad days on the Europa League matches.
Please don’t ask me for specifics of my strategy/variation of ASP – that would not be fair to purchasers of ASP. What I am doing is discussed on the ASP member site in the “Geoff’s Diary” section under the title “….. (At Half Time) Revisited”
Profits are after my 4.8% Betfair commission The Assured Soccer Profits spreadsheet works upwards, with the latest match results at the top. We started with a 200 point balance.

On the second night of Europa League football this week, three trades were sent to make some money from.
UEFA – Europa League
A E K Larnaca vs Maccabi Haifa
Advice: Lay 0:0 scoreline in the Half Time market
Lay odds advised: 3.00, stake £25.00.
Lay odds taken: 3.00.
When looking at the market this morning, odds were at 3.05/3.10, with just over £1100 matched in the market. Surprisingly enough, the lay bet was matched during the course of the afternoon.
By kick off, odds stood at 2.90/2.94, and looked like the market was expecting a quiet first half on the goals front.
The goal we needed was scored in the fourteenth minute, so no perspiration on the brow here.
Profit achieved: £22.50.

Twente Enschede vs Fulham
Advice: Lay Twente Enschede
Lay odds advised: 2.30, stake £50.00.
Back odds advised: 4.60, stake £25.00.
Lay odds taken: 2.14.
A nice drop in the odds in our favour, which was very welcome, the market was at 2.12/2.14, so took the odds that were available.
By kick off, odds had drifted very slightly at 2.18/2.20.
A distinct lack of goals here, so we had to wait until the last ten minutes of the game for out back bet order to be picked up. Thankfully it was, as Twente scored the only goal of the game in the last minute of normal time.
Profit achieved: £25.40.

Red Bull Salzburg vs Paris St Germain
Advice: Lay over 3.5 Goals
Lay odds advised: 3.50, stake £50.00.
Back odds advised: 7.00, stake £25.00.
Stop loss advised: Back @ 1.75 for £100.00
Lay odds taken: 3.90.
This trade teased us all day. It was within a quarter of a point of our request all day. In the morning, odds were at 3.50/3.65, so a possibility of being matched at some point.
It was never to be so.
I made a decision to lay at 3.90, which was five minutes into the game, as the odds were always going to move against us, and by this point, without a goal, were not going to get matched in our direction.
Salzburg took the lead at twenty minutes, which brought the odds back to around 2.60, and we had to wait until the 57th minute to get our back bet matched.
Profit achieved: £21.04.
Liabilities for today: £252.00.
Total liabilities to date: £3775.39.
Profit for today: £68.94.
Current Bank: £505.07 (starting bank £1000.00)

Strike Rate: 65.8%.
So a full house for today, hopefully starting on the road to get back into profit.
