Tonight, I have just got back from a 2 hour meeting with SAXO Bank ex major forex trader and a Danish Swiss Bank ex Algorithm Author. These two chaps are not your average everyday traders, but real world high net winners. I myself made 141.50% (net) in the last 4 weeks on my own self trading but these two chaps made me think I was missing something!

They have both decided to set up their own alternative trading company and I was privilaged to meet them to discuss the possibilites.

The details will be discussed later as the planned open date is in September. Right now all I can say is the package is exceptional and with highly experienced, professional, profitable real world traders and profitable algorithm authors.

I am so excited about the possibilities that I wanted to let it out here and let all of you know a piece of history in the making before it has fully emerged…isn’t that the best way to trade anyway!? Of course it is.

I shall be meeting with the Company Owner and Head Algorithm Author again in two weeks to discuss further as in the meantime they have to speak to offshore financing and Financial Authorities for International Permits and Licencing.

This is what I gathered up from the mystery last time round.

This time, I managed to add another piece to this complex jigsaw puzzle. It turns out that in the “Tipiko” Cypriot internet cafe, players exchange 100 Euro in return for 100 US Dollars to play. From today’s exchange they should receive $126.75. However, if the player ultimately wins they get paid back in Euro making it seem fair, right? Wrong. Most lose, especially if they are shortstack pricks and get punished on the exchange rate. Ouch. I will get back to you whether this is common business practice across all greek/cypriot internet cafes.

In other news, Betfair has officially announced that it is leaving its standalone poker room and joining the Ongame Network at the end of July 2010.
