Friday Footie Update…

It has been a frustrating few weeks with the weather and very little domestic action but hopefully from next week on we should get back to normal. Nevertheless, we have still had a busy week at LTO.

This week we have looked at the Africa Cup of Nations, where you will find my predictions. 3 systems/services have been added to our systems section, Football Prophets, Football Laying Code and Football Betting Tipsters.

There has also been a couple of additions to our research site, with wsn and sportspunter to help you in your deliberations.

Psychic SoccerI am currently testing out a new lay system called “Psychic Soccer” which has not been launched yet but will be next month. I will let you know how the trial is going over the course of the month. I am also about to test out the “Soccer Mystic” software from Bet Angel to help with my football trading strategies and am looking forward to that and will let you know how I go on.

If you go over to the Football Betting Forum you will find a very interesting lay system under “System Football Lay” towards the bottom of page 5, well worth checking out. It has produced brilliant results over the last month or so, with 22/24 winning bets.

Now last Friday I did say that from this week I would be posting a football tip each week, so here we go. First though, let me just say that you will not be getting any short priced, odds-on shots to back, that is not my game. For me, who is going to win the game doesn’t matter one jot, the only thing that matters is, who has got the value. So you will be getting tips that are odds against and have value on their side, such that over a period of time you will end up in front. I will also give you a short price lay, now these will be odds-on but we will be laying them. So, the value bets are:-

Back   Swansea   13/10   Blue Square

Lay    Forest    1.76   Betfair

Swansea were knocked out of the cup by Leicester the other week, so revenge will be on their minds. Leicester are having a bit of trouble off the field at the moment and could be vulnerable. On my stats Swansea should be about evens so at 13/10 there is definitely value there and if you always bet with value you will end up in front, long term.

I would lay Forest purely down to the performance that Reading gave at Liverpool, it was fantastic. Forest though are playing well and are the form team but should only be about evens on my stats and so to be able to lay them at 1.76, the value is again on our side.
