Hi all
This is BrasilNut and I hope you had a fantastic break with the family and fun new years celebration.
With all the racing and much of the football due to freezing weather, why not play more poker?!
This week I have a few more reviews that I have put together and I hope you find useful. They include:
I have posted some really thought provoking hand history and great analysis from poker friends in the poker forum. Feel free to make a comment, even to say I played some hands like a fish.
Lastly, I have made a list of reputable Internet Gambling (employment) Recruitment Agencies that is if you happen to be looking for a job in this fast growing industry.

We are at least racing and all weather takes centre stage. Many punters avoid this action, and, if it isn’t your scene then fair play, however, I have put together a nice lay system strictly for the all weather. It won’t make you a fortune, but, it will be a nice addition to anyone’s system portfolio.
What we want to do is lay the favourites on the all weather. I don’t mean blindly – that would be foolish. There are a number of “rules” “criteria” call them what you will. For some reason, this is less successful at Kempton, therefore, this applies to Lingfield, Southwell and Wolverhampton ONLY!
The rules:
Minimum of 5 runners
Favourite must start at between 5/2 and 9/2
Favourite must have run within the last 150 days
Favourite must have been placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th last time out
Must be a Handicap race
The favourite must have run at least 3 times before
IF the favourite meets these criterions, then lay it! Try it out – it works! The success rate is in the region of 75% – pretty good for laying favourites.
With luck, the weather will ease and “normal” racing will resume pretty quickly. We have to be very careful when it does though, as changes in the ground conditions are not favourable for any type of gambling/punting/investing. It so happens that I am currently working on a lay system that is going dependant! More on that nearer the release date.
As there are few betting opportunities at the moment, maybe it’s time you all invested in a profitable system. I would recommend False Favourites – it’s inexpensive and works!!
In my next blog I will have news of a system that hasn’t hit the streets yet. It could be the answer to all of our dreams. Until then…………

Finally we seem to be seeing a little light at the end of the “snow covered tunnel” and prospects for the return of Jump Racing appear to be improving.
Kempton Park got the go ahead early today and is due to stage a 7 races card on Saturday, along with a meeting at Huntingdon which was moved back from it’s original Friday slot. If all goes to plan these will be the first jumps action in nearly two weeks and will be a very welcome change from the relentless and very low grade AW action of late. Having said that if you have been keeping an eye on the new method trial of the all weather backing system over on the horse racing forum, you will have been rewarded with a cracking 9/1 Winner (betfair sp 12.40) on Tuesday(12th Jan) in Elusive Warrior. It is still early days but the method is showing a respectable profit from just a handful of selections.
In the coming weeks we will be taking a closer look at a number of the well publicised and marketed horse racing systems/methods, and we will be providing our no-frills appraisal of the merits or otherwise of them…..
