It’s been an exciting couple of weeks from the Betfair games department with new tutorials and a review of the X-Feeder software. If you had followed the little system I showed you this week in the X-Feeder review you would have shown a profit of £136.48.
Not bad for 3 days of doing nothing but letting X-Feeder do the work! I must admit it won’t always be that profitable but with any system, it has its ups and downs.
As long as we stick to the money management part and the stop/loss filters (stop trading to a -£20.00 and stop when profit reaches +£50.00) we will show a long term profit.
I’m currently writing a Texas Hold ‘Em tutorial to be posted next week along with a review of which I’m currently testing of X-Trader.
I would appreciate any comments on the Betfair Games forum regarding the poker section of Betfair Games as it’s an area I know a lot of people have strategies for and if I’m honest one of the only games I do not play regularly.
There will also be some more exciting advances in the Betfair Games section as I reveal another technique for slicing a few more quid from the Hi Lo Games and how it’s possible to make a consistent £5/£10 a day from Betfair Blackjack.
There will also be many more reviews and articles in the New Year on how to get a lot of free money from the casino’s and a few techniques on how to be better at roulette and blackjack (although I must stress that these games are not profitable in the long term, no matter what some people might say!!)
So as it’s now Friday I’m off to enjoy the weekend,
Happy punting and good luck,
Eddie Lloyd

For the second week in a row, we went a little heavy and theoretical with my article about Points and Unit Stakes, following the Managing Your Spread Bank piece the week before.
I promise that we’ll get a bit lighter in the weeks ahead, but I think it’s vital to get to grips with the fundamentals before embarking on a spread betting frenzy.
Also, for the second week in a row, a good profit from my recommendations on the Weekend LIVE markets, although La Liga Bookings didn’t fare so well.
I am sitting proudly on top of the new Tipsters League, although admittedly it’s still in the “pre-season” stage, and it will be organised a bit better in time for a proper start in the New Year. Participants welcome!!
Look out for the daily selections here, and on Monday I’ll be looking back at the spread betting week.

Today we are going to be looking at some of this seasons stats and how they can help us for the rest of the season.
Was it Benjamin Disraeli or Mark Twain, who coined the phrase. The debate is still going on and about 20 other names have been thrown into the hat. The origin is still unknown but the sentiment is still there. Many a weak arguement can be bolstered by a liberal sprinkling of a few stats. If ever there was a season when you could throw the stats book away, then this is the season. For anyone heavily into stats based betting (and that includes me), this season has been heavy going.
Without a doubt statistics do help in deciphering the vagaries of a football match but if you depend on them totally and they don’t conform, (which they often don’t), then you are in trouble. My stats are based on more than 21,000 matches played in the top 4 English leagues, over the last 10+years and I have a good handle on them but they still come up with an element of surprise. This season has been a bit of a shocker in the Premiership and Championship. Let me give you some facts.
Over the last 10 years, in the top 4 English leagues, the percentages of home wins, draws and away wins have been as follows:-
Home wins 45%
Draws 27%
Away wins 28%
So what has happened this season? Well I can tell you that Leagues 1 and 2 have performed pretty much up to standard, with Homes 45%, Draws 27%, Aways 28%, so far, so good but what about the big boys. Well they are not behaving themselves at all, currently showing:- More on Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics…
